In the second part of the Uki trilogy - Uki and the Swamp Spirit - we read how things continue with Uki and his friends. After Uki has defeated the spirit Valkus, his strength has increased so much! He can uproot a tree with his hands, but what use is that to him? The young rabbits still have to find and defeat an evil spirit
His name is Charice and for thousands of years Charice has been imprisoned in a crystal cell, deep underground. But now he has escaped and is free. A sickly green poisonis slowly spreading across the swamps and over the water the forest. That must be Charice, who wants to subject all living creatures to it's will...Can Uki outsmart Charice and overcome this evil spirit too? While they themselves are being pursued by the Night Watch and Jori's murderers, they have to go to extremes!
Kieran Larwood's story is nail-bitingly exciting again and David Wyatt's drawings are indispensable with it, so cool! The little monsters are listening on the edge of their seats, they would have preferred to finish the book right away. They want to know how the story ends. But then a very smart one says: then we have to wait for the next book. Then we'd rather have one chapter at a time :))
3+ from afar radiant shining stars for Uki and the Swamp Spirit, from the listeners and the readers!
