1 sock

fiberfill
red en pink felt|
a little bow
2 black pins
glue
A small sock hare is easy to make, especially on a sewing machine but also by hand. If you make smaller ears, sew a pink button in the position of the nose and a give it a chenille pigtail then you have a sock-piglet that's also very cute!
Watch out !! If you make your sock animal for a small child then you can't use pins for the eyes but you embroider a face on the animal!!
Turn the sock and draw paws and ears on it.
Cut the shape out with a wide margin around the lines.
Sew on the lines on the sock but leave one ear open to fill.
After filling you close the ear by hand.
Tie off the head & ears with a double thread.
Cut the top of the sock in two equal pieces.
Close the borderside, the long side and fill.
Close the top of the paws and sew them on the hare.
Now your sock is starting to look like a little hare!
Sew a pink pompom tail on your Valentine hare.
Cut out of felt 2 red hearts, 2 pink cheeks and a pink nose.
Now you need glue, a bow and 2 black pins.
Cut the sharp points of the pins and squeeze some glue on the end.
Press the pins in the head. Glue on cheeks, nose & bow and let the glue dry.
Draw two hearts on red felt and cut them out.
Sew the hearts together but leave a little bit open to fill.
Fill the heart with fiberfill and close the opening.
Attach the heart to the paws whit a few little stitches.
What a cute Valentine hare you made!
Pardon??? You mean Valentine piglet!
