A small sock hare is easy to make, especially on a sewing machine but also by hand. If you make smaller ears, sew a pink button in the position of the nose and a give it a chenille pigtail then you have a sock-piglet that's also very cute!

Watch out !! If you make your sock animal for a small child then you can't use pins for the eyes but you embroider a face on the animal!!

Turn the sock and draw paws and ears on it.

Cut the shape out with a wide margin around the lines.

Sew on the lines on the sock but leave one ear open to fill.

After filling you close the ear by hand.
