On April 22 it is Earth Day, all over the world and something needs to happen urgently if we want to keep the Earth healthy. There is a lot of pollution from industr like car and air traffic, too much deforestation and too much energy consumption. Environmental targets are not met and most animals have an aweful life. Animal disease explodes and large quantities of menure infest the environment. That really has to change and we are already teaching that to the mini-monsters.
How to make an Earth Day garland
Coloured cardboard, pencil, scissors, glue, cookie cutters and you can start!
Trace circles on blue cardstock using a cookie cutter.
Cut out all the circles, we make 10.
Draw fantasy continents on green cardstock.
Cut out the continents.
Stick them on the blue circles.
Allow the glue to dry well.
While the glue is drying we make the people
Trace the shapes on cardboard.
Cut them all out neatly.
Make a loop in the thread.
Stick it all on the string.
Stick on the planets alternately with the figures and find a nice spot for it!
You only have to hang up your cheerful garland.
Now let's enjoy the spring sunshine for a while!
