250g caster sugar
250g butter (room temperature)
60ml milk (room temperature)
3 free range organic eggs (room temperature)

12 lollies (retro - Jumbo / hearts - Flying Tiger)

A cute vanilla cupcake is always a treat in school, especially if decorated with a beautiful retro lolly. They are quick and easy to make, this summer treat! Use different colours paper cases and fondant icing. To give your treat a cheerful look use different coloured molds and icing.
How to make the Birthday cupcakes
Place 12 paper cases in the cupcake tin.
Make cupcake batter with the download of our recipe.
To get equal sized cupcakes best use an ice scoop
Fill the paper cases with one scoop each.
Preheat the oven to 170°C
Slide the baking tin in the middle of the oven.
Bake the cupcakes golden in +/- 20 minutes,
Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin.
How to make the decorations
Roll between two pieces of cling film some fondant icing thin.
Cut repeatedly two circles out of various colours.
Stick the circles on the cupcakes, using a drop of water.
Push a matching colour lolly in each cupcake.
Tie 'leaves' on each lolly stick from green ribbon.
The cupcakes are done, such a cheerful treat!
