Stars folded in the Waldorf way are also very beautiful for Eid-al-Fitr. We fold a large and a smaller star in three shades of purple. We thought about adding gold paper or gold glitter, but to be honest we think the kite paper with the sun shining through is the most beautiful already!
How to make purple Eid-al-Fitr stars
Place the folding sheet diagonal in front of you.
Fold it in half, the points exactly on top of each other.
Fold the sheet open, then fold both points inward to the center line.
Fold the two points on the right to the center line too.
Stick the4 points on with a dab of glue.
Fold a total of 8 points.
More neatly you fold, the prettier the star.
We fold the small star in the same way, only we fold the 16x16cm sheets first into quarters
Cut 2 sheets into 4 pieces.
Fold and glue them in the same way.
Stick the points together with the wide sides.
Please mind to stick each point on the center line from the point before, the 8 points will fit perfectly then!
Also stick the big star together now.
Stick the stars on the window using a glue stick or adhesive tape.
We wish you a beautiful Eid al Fitr, Eid Mubarak!
