We make a colourful flower wreath for Mother's Day. If your mom loves flowers this is a beautiful gift for her. We have to work hard, cut and paste, then paint. And in between we let the glue dry first and then the paint as well. Mum does a lot for us that's why we like to make her happy with a homemade gift.
How to make a flower wreath
Trace a large plate with a pencil.
Trace a small plate in the center.
Cut out both circles.
Paint the ring.
Let the paint dry well
Meanwhile cut out the egg cartons.
Cut them into flowers.
Trim the edges and cut petals.
Squeeze a dollop glue into the half egg cups.
Press the halve egg cups together.
Allow the glue to dry completely!
Paint the pointy flowers on the inside.
Is the inside dry then paint the outside.
Paint the egg cup flowers on the inside.
Are they dry? Then paint them on the outside.
Wait till the paint has dried completely, on both sides!
Give the ring another coat of paint and allow it to dry well.
Draw, cut and paste leaves from coloured cardstock.
Stick the flowers neatly on the ring.
Stick the leaves also on the ring.
Allow the glue to dry completely.
Stick a pompom in each flower.
Let de glue dry for one final time and you're done!
