You can buy all kinds of fun decorations for Valentine's Day, but we think it's even more fun to make them yourself. We make hearts to hang in front of the window. In red and in two shades of pink. We are happily going to cut and paste, we love that :))
Here's how you make these Valentine hearts
Cut out the pattern.
Trace it on the cardboard.
Cut out the hearts.
We use three colours.
Place a ruler on the hearts.
Make a score in the middle.
Cut out all the smaller hearts.
Trace the hearts on printed paper.
Cut out the hearts.
Stick the paper on the hearts.
Score and fold the hearts in half.
Make holes in half of the hearts, using a hole puncher
Make a snip in the hearts up to half way, 1 bottom to top, 1 top to bottom.
Slide the the hearts together with some glue and let the glue dry.
Lace a thread through the hearts and tie a knot.
String on beads & buttons and tie a loop at the end.
Make as many hearts as you like and hang them.
Happy Valentine's Day!
