For Epiphany we want to fold a nice, large yellow star. One that showed the three Kings the way, a long time ago, to the stable in Bethlehem. There are little monsters who think that the star must have been very special, perhaps it had rainbow colours. We don't know! A compromise is quickly reached, we simply fold two stars. :))
How to fold stars from kite paper
Place the paper diagonally in front of you.
Fold the paper in half.
Fold it open again.
Fold top and bottom to the middle.
Fold the point of 1 side to the middle.
This is what the other side looks like.
Fold another 7 points in the same way.
Now the folding is done and you can glue the star together
Glue the points on top of each other with the wide side.
Mind the last point, one goes up and one under.
Now each point looks exactly the same as the others.
Allow the glue to dry completely, before you stick the star on the window..
Fold 4 pieces of tape inside out and stick them on the points.
Now you can stick the Epiphany star(s) on the window.
If you have folded neatly on the lines you see a beautiful pattern appear!
Make January 6 a wonderful day!
