The pictures with the Dutch rural atmosphere, the cute children and the animals are particularly well-resembled in soft colours. The beauty of the landscape, the sudden showers and the pleasant village life, with a granny who's hanging up the laundry in between showers are all so typically Dutch.
The mini monsters really love the book and their readers actually do too. We are happy to read the book over and over again to them, we can't get enough of it either :))
