small tin of tuna in water
small tin of mackerel in water
small tin of peas, drained
2 free range eggs
splash of olive oil
300g plain flour
This tasty and healthy surprise for Puss, on World Animal Day is quickly made. The mini-monsters love to help make them, even though the dough smells a bit fishy. But do start on time because our fish nibbles need two nights to harden!
How to make fish-nibbles for your cat
Boil the thawed whitefish soft in app. 5 minutes.
Stir the fish, eggs, peas and olive oil together until combined.
Add the boiled fish to the mixture as well.
Use a kitchen aid to mix the flour quickly with the mixture.
Preheat the oven to 150°C
Roll balls between your hands, place them on waxed paper.
Bake the fish nibbles for 30 minutes on a baking tray.*
Puss will love the fishy cat nibbles!
*Allow the fish nibbles to harden overnight on the waxed paper. Turn and leave them for another night, then Puss can enjoy them for a long time. Our cat Bobby loves our homemade fish nibbles very much!
Wishing you all a Happy World Animal Day!
