For our last outing in the summer holidays we drive to Scheveningen again. The Legoland Discovery Center is planned for today. We're not quite sure what to expect but we've checked out the website and one thing's for sure, there are millions of Lego bricks!
You can play with Lego, for the littlest ones there is also Lego Duplo. There is an Imagination Express in which you can take a ride and participate in a game. You can view The Hague of Lego, in miniature, watch a 4D film and / or you can participate in a creative Lego workshop. We're going to see it all!
When you check in, the kids receive their activity pack, if you have bought it online with your tickets. Puk thinks it's super fun, it's a Lego robot that you can hang around your neck with a key cord. We also run in to the robot right away. We leaf through the activity pack and see there are a lot of assignments to do, you also can collect stamps.
Then we see The Hague in miniature, built out of the millions of Lego bricks. ;)) It's very beautiful, we see the pier and the boulevard of Scheveningen, but also the high-rise buildings in the center of The Hague.
The kids can stand in a tube to see The Hague City up close. They are looking for the bad guy, as mentioned in your assignment. After that we go and have coffee.
Isn't that funny? Everything is made out of Lego in this Coffee Shop!
The structure on the table is a landscape with trees and a cave. In the cave is a dragon, very nicely made with lots of stones! Puk builds his own spaceship, on top of the mountain. Also very cool!
We also go to the ball pond, in the Pirate Ship. Your height will be measured there first, so it will be safe to go in. Then take off your shoes and you can start playing.
Of course we take a souvenir from the Lego store, Puk chooses a Lego Minion key ring. To put on his school bag because Monday he goes go back to school. This was our final vacation day trip in August and it was super fun!
