To paint in the style of Monet with our little ones is great fun because it works easy and gives great results with washable markers. The slightly larger mini-monsters draw nicely in the circles of the paper, you may, but you don't have to. It does not matter if you mess around with the markers, with a little water you get a good result anyway. The colors will flow into each other because of the water.
A few points of attention ;)
A few points of attention ;)
- This will only work if your markers are washable.
- By use of lighter colours your end result will be much much paler than with using the darker colours.
- Also, the more water the lighter the colors. They become less vibrant anyway when the art work has dried.
- For the little ones, the result is less important than spraying the water, so cover well and keep a watchful eye!
Have lots of fun!
Colour the whole sheet of kitchen towel to the edges.
You may colour neatly or not but the paper needs to be full.
When the colouring is done the fun will start!
Drizzle water on the paper with a small water squirter.
You will see the colours flow together at once!
Now you have to wait for your work to dry!
