What do you need for Mr Bee & lady bug?
1 empty toilet roll
1 styrofoam ball
yellow crepe paper
black chenille sticks
4 flower binding wires
4 wobbly eyes
piece of black cardstock
piece of red cardstock
glue stick
Today is Earth Day, we are making a Bee and a Ladybug with the little monsters. These simple animal crafts are easy for preschoolers to do; they can make them (almost) entirely by themselves. The Bee is the easiest to make, but the Ladybug is also finished quickly. The little monsters love that! They like to craft, but not too long, they prefer a nice and quick result ;))
Here is how you make Mr. Bee and Mrs. Ladybug
Roll head & body in crepe paper, twist stripes around the body ending in legs.
Stick florist wire wings into the body, feelers in the head and stick eyes on.
Cut out the body of Lady Bug, snip in the back end, stick it on top of each other.
Cut out wings, dots, legs, feelers and eyes ans stick it all on the Lady Bug.
Now both insects are ready so we quickly hang them in the window.
