397g (one can) condensed milk
360g milk chocolate, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Christmas sprinkles, to decorate
red & green M&M's
Today we are making Christmas presents that are very tasty! We are making chocolate fudge. We decorate the fudge with pretty Christmas sprinkles and chocolate M&M's, Then we put the fudge in a bag with a cute bow around it and a Christmas sticker as well. We also set some fudge aside, to have with our tea. You should always taste something before you give it away ;))
How to make chocolate fudge
Bring a thin layer of water to the boil, turn the heat low.
Place waxed paper in a 20x30 cm baking tin.
Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
Place the chocolate pieces in a heat proof bowl.
Add the condensed milk to the chocolate and stir it together.
Let the chocolate melt on top of the water and stir in the vanilla.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the baking tin with waxed paper.
Smoothen the top quickly with a spatula or the back of a spoon
The little mini-monsters may scatter the sprinkles over the chocolate fudge.
Place the fudge for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator to set
Fetch the fudge from the fridge.
Cut off messy edges.
Cut the fudge in more or less equal pieces.
Set some of the fudge aside.
Wrap the rest nicely.
Tea on the side and then tasting!
