What do you need to make rain?
a big glass jar or vase
water
shaving cream
blue food colouring
pipette or squeeze bottle
Because we are very busy with the weather this month (actually ... it's a kind of theme) we make a rain shower with our youngest mini-monster. He is looking forward to it and he can do everything himself. We like that, of course! ;) Later on in the month we make serious rain with the older kids.
How to make a rain shower with the little ones
Fill the jar or vase up to 80% with cold water.
Fill the 20% empty space with shaving cream from a spray can.
Put 6 drops of food colour topped with water in the pipette.
Spray blue water on the cream until it drips through.
We see a rain cloud coming ...
