We're making Sinterklaas Fudge

Shopping list
1 can (397 ml) condensed milk
175g dark chocolate
175g milk chocolate
2 tablespoons butter
pinch of salt
a handful kruidnootjes
some Sinterklaas chocolates
sprinkles

Sinterklaas is back in our country! We're making something really yummy, something that we're saving for the holidays, fudge. The mini-monsters are already excited, they love the candy. The decorations makes it a real Sinterklaas candy ;))

How to make Sinterklaas Fudge

Place a sheet of baking paper in a baking tray of --x--cm.

Cut the chocolate finely instead of breaking, then it will melt faster.

Take a saucepan an pour the condensed milk in it

Heat the milk on low heat and keep stirring vigorously.

Add the chocolate and then stir it into the hot milk.

Stir the butter firmly into the hot chocolate mixture.

Then stir the salt into the chocolate mixture too.

Keep continuously stirring firmly until the mixture is hot, thick and glossy

Pour the fudge into the tin.

Smoothen the top neatly.

Press kruidnootjes into the soft fudge.

Let it cool until room temperature.

When the fudge has cooled you press the chocolates in and scatter sprinkles on top

Allow the fudge to set in the fridge, for minimal 4 hours.

Cut the fudge into neat, approximately equal cubes.
