250 ml semi-skimmed milk
1 free range organic egg, size M
2 heaped teaspoons vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
8 white casino sandwiches
2 tablespoons butter
Today we are making old-fashioned Dutch toast for the mini monsters. It is a real children's favorite and they are ready quickly! You can use up some old white sandwich bread beautifully, because stale bread only makes it tastier.
How to make Dutch toast
Break an egg into the milk.
Beat it in firmly.
Add the sugar and cinnamon.
Beat it firmly in again.
Pour the mixture into a deep plate and soak the bread in it, on both sides
Melt the butter in a skillet.
Fry the bread until golden.
On both sides.
Stack the Dutch toast on a hot plate.
Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with some fruit.
