The weather is very cold today but it is changing quickly. For example, there is wet snow that disappears as soon as it hits the ground, then suddenly the sun shines, then the sky turns completely gray and it starts snowing again, but not for very long. This time the snow remains, much to the delight of the mini monsters!

The birds are flying back and forth, they are hungry! The ground is very hard and the insects are deep down. We hung up a lot of bird food this morning and also some bowls with birdseed for outdoor birds. We add finely chopped brown bread crusts and small pieces of very ripe cheese. Which we learned from Bird Garden.

Wet snow!

A Great Tit stops by to eat.

The Jackdaw loves peanut butter.

The Pigeons are regular customers.

The Jackdaw is very careful because the Pigeons chase other birds away. But hunger wins because a little later they eat together, although the Jackdaw withdraws after every bite.

The Magpie is cautious.

That's an unexpected visitor!

The Great Tit comes looking in.

The jackdaw wants the peanut butter, he is too big to sit on the stick on the house. His wings are fluttering wildly! A magpie flies to and from the tree. The bird is shy and the tree is close to our window. Finches. Wrens, blackbirds and Robins also visit us regularly, but we have not yet been able to take their picture, the are to quick for us!

It's so nice to have lots of bird visitors in the garden, we wish you a happy winter!
