The Dutch author Sanne de Bakker has written the stories about the young Mozart's life in a fun way. For her books Sanne de Bakker used the original diaries and letters from the Mozart family as a source.
The book reads very smoothly so that children of today can sympathize with a boy that lived in the 1700's. The cheerful, stylish book cover and the little ilustrations are made by Dutch illustrator Mark Janssen, they give the book a contemporary look.
The Mozart series consists of two parts: The little Mozart on the world tour and The Young Mozart and the conspiracy in Vienna. Each part has a CD included with the music that was composed by Mozart, in the period in the books.
The here discussed book The Young Mozart includes both parts, but unfortunately it has no CD included. What is really to bad! So buy a CD to go with the book, because Mozart's music is so brilliant, it inspires children.
