We started with sowing mid-April and thyme was the first seed that germinated. The other seeds were invisible, they sat nice and warm in the kitchen, under the earth, near the window. Every day the soil was checked to see if it was still moist. And the pots were carried dilligently from the kitchen to the living room, depending on where the sun shone on the windows.

But then it happened, the first leaf of the Thyme became visible! Nothing has happened in the melon pots as yet. But about five or six days later, a Zucchini leaf emerged. And...the Thyme grew really quickly!

Now we have to wait until the plants are big and sturdy enough to be planted outside, in the vegetable garden. That you can do after mid-May, when the Ice Saints have passed. This means that the timeline for planting seedlings outside has been drawn on mid-May, then the risk of night frost has passed.

It is after the Ice Saints when we take these pictures, the plants have grown very well! (Only the seed of the melons did nothing, so that unfortunately failed) In principle, the plants could have been outside for a while now.

But because we still have a lot of snails and slugs (unfortunately nobody froze to death last winter) in the kitchen garden we first have to fix copper tape around the it. We will make time for that as soon as possible.

So in our next blog, all the plants will definitely be outside and we'll tell you all about them!
