Today we are finishing the cake pops, they will be ready in no time, because most of the work has already been done yesterday. That's what we thought. Unfortunately, it is very hot today and it might not be such a good idea to work with chocolate. It's in and out of the refrigerator with the cake pops and waiting for it to set every time! But there are little monsters here who really want cake pops and we promised them today they are ready ;)
So here we go!
How to finish the cake pops
Chop the chocolate finely.
Melt the pieces au bain marie.
Fetch the cake pops.
Dip the cake pops in chocolate.
Allow the chocolate to set.
Melt the white chocolate au bain marie.
Pour it using a spoon over the cake pops.
But only over the top.
Dot eyes with white chocolate.
Melt dark chocolate for mouths.
Scatter sprinkles and let all set.
We let the chocolate harden again (it is really hot here!).
Then we make the tea and eat the lovely cake pops outside!
