What do you need?
a toilet paper roll
a plastic tiara
orange felt
scissors
hobby glue
orange acrylic paint & brush
fake gems
an exacto knife (adults only)
stapler
What do you do on King's Day, even if it's a weird day because of Covid? You put a crown on your head. You can of course buy a crown, but we make it ourselves!
And here's how you do it
Measure the felt around the roll.
Cut the felt off the right size.
Cut the roll and cut points in it.
Clamp the felt and cut it accordingly.
The felt should fit the cardbord exactly now.
Stick the felt on the cardboard, let the glue dry.
Paint the tiara orange, allow the paint to dry.
Paint the cardboard on the inside of the crown.
Paint a second layer on the tiara.
Staple the crown and make 2 cuts.
Decorate the crown to your taste using the gems.
Allow glue and paint to dry thoroughly, you don't want it in your hair!
