a 24x30 canvas
acrylic paint and brushes
sturdy cardboard
thick white paper
contact glue
piece of wood
2 pins
scissors
puncher
The new year has just begun so if you do not yet have a 2018 calender you can make one yourself. One of our mini-monsters is a dedicated Pikachu fan so here it goes ...
How to make a Pikachu calender
Paint the canvas yellow then let it dry.
Give the canvas a second coat of paint.
Paint a face on the canvas.
Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
Cut 2 ears from sturdy cardboard.
Coat with 2-3 layers of paint.
Paint the points of the ears black.
Saw a slat to fit into the back of the canvas.
Download then cut numbers and months to size.
Punch holes into the numbered sheets.
Pushpin the numbers on the calender.
Stick on the month using doublesided tape.
Now your Pickachu Calender is ready to go on the wall!
