150g mayonnaise
1 lemon, only finely grated zest
10g dill leaves, finely chopped
1/2 small red onion, very finely chopped
sea salt, to taste
freshly grated black pepper
A simple mayo-dill sauce is quickly made and it tastes very good with fish. With baked white fish, such as cod or haddock, but also with grilled or smoked salmon. You can make the mayonnaise yourself, but if you don't have time, buy a jar, both delicious! There are still fresh vegetables and herbs in it,
How to make a mayo/dill sauce
Wash the dill and pat it dry.
Finely chop dill and onion, grate the lemon.
Put everything in a bowl and add the mayo.
Mix it all together until well combined.
Spoon the dil/mayo in a closable jar and place it in the refrigerator.
Leave the dil/mayo sauce until Sunday, then the flavours can blend and we make fish fillet burgers!
