What do you need?
coloured cardstock strips
piece of cardboard
pair of scissors
glue stick
black felt-tip pen
Puk made a wonderful snake at school. He likes it so much that he wants to show it on snazzie, then snazzie kids can make one too. The snake is a perfect craft for toddlers and children up to group 4. It's all about eye-hand coordination, sticking the strips together neatly and cutting them is quite difficult. If you don't have strips, the older children can cut some, just like Puk did at school.
How to make the snake
Cut the strips in half.
Glue a circle.
Stick a strip through the circle.
Glue it into a circle.
Go on until you have 10 circles.
Cut a red strip into a tongue.
Cut out the snake's head.
Draw eyes and nose slits on the head.
Stick the tongue on the snake's head.
Stick the head onto the last ring.
Now your snake is ready!
Only let the glue dry completely for a little while!
Cool ssssssnake, right?
