a sheet white tissue paper
a glue stick
coloured pencils
a card and envelope
a stamp
We're making greeting cards for Whitsun. We are sending sweet white doves to our gran's this year, they also love crafts. Cut the doves from a piece of white cardboard and fold tissue paper wings. When the cards are ready you can write a sweet message to grandma, with colouring pencils. Don't forget the stamp, so the postman can deliver the card.
How to make Whitsun greeting cards
Download the pattern and cut it out.
Place the pattern on white cardstock and trace it.
Cut out the dove neatly and erase any pencil lines.
Cut the tissue paper in half and fold it a into a harmonica.
Fold the half sheet to the end.
Cut the top round and fold the bottom flat.
Brush a dollop glue on the back of the dove.
Allow the glue to dry for a moment.
Colour the beak and the eye on the dove.
Now you can write a message to grandma inside the card.
Wishing you happy Whitsun!
