Actually, we only see Party crackers in Dutch shops around Christmas time. But especially for Eid al Fitr we saw these beautiful Party Crackers on the website of Martha Stewart. So nice because they look nice on the table and your kids can help to cut and paste them. Or you can surprise them with the crackers. Filled with chocolate coins, it will certainly work!
How to make Eid al Fitr Party Crackers
Cut gold paper twice the width of the roll.
Cut strips of purple crepe paper to the same size.
Roll and stick it on the rolls.
Stick a strip of colored paper around the center.
While the glue on the purple crackers dries we carry on with the golden
Bind thread on one side of the crackers.
Switch, glue the golden and tie the purple crackers.
Fill the crackers with chocolate coins.
Close the other side of the crakers
Punch or cut out the moons and stars.
Stick them on the Party Crackers.
Happy Eid al Fitr to everyone!
