100g Tony's chocolate,
dark, milk or white
a sheet of parchment paper
a spatula
a closable container
a refrigerator
For Easter we will bake a beautiful Easter cake, with lots of chocolate. Because it's a big recipe (there are 4 parts!) we'll start with part 1 today. On april 7 and 8 we'll bake the sponge cake and make the filling. Then on April 9, Easter Sunday, we quickly build a cake out of those parts and the mini monsters may help. That will be a lot of kitchen fun on Easter Day!
How to make chocolate shards
Chop the chocolate.
Melt it in a bain marie.
Pour it onto the baking paper.
Spread the chocolate thinly.
Set the chocolate aside so it can set. properly.
Would you like a shine on the chocolate? Don't put it in the fridge to set.
Doesn't it matter? Put it in the refrigerator and let it set overnight. The next day you can break it, put it in a box and keep it in the fridge until Easter!
