Around Christmas time we like beautiful windows, and first we clean them spotless. The little monsters help, they also have chores! ;) Then we start working with the kite paper and soon we fold the most beautiful Christmas stars... When the stars are ready, we stick them on the windows. The choice is between the glue stick, then the stars are firmly stuck! Or with sticky tape, which comes off easily after Christmas. The choice is yours.
How (easily) you fold Waldorf Christmas Stars
Fetch a sheet of kite paper.
Fold it diagonally in half.
Fold the paper back open.
Fold the top and the bottom pint inwards.
Keep folding in the same way, you need to fold 16 points.
Stick the points on the center line on top, like in the picture.
Stick the last point on top and on the other side beneath.
Set the star aside and let the glue dry completely.
The glue is dry and the window as well, so stick the star on!
Fold 8 of the same yellow points.
But do not glue the star in the same way...
...stick the wide side in the center.
Our little monsters fold small stars in the same way
Cut 2 sheets in 4 pieces, so you have 8 equal pieces.
Fold them into little stars, in various colours.
How beautiful does that look for Christmas? Wishing you a Merry Christmas, in advance!
