In summer we see many beautiful butterflies in the garden, when the sun shines they happily flutter around. We also like them on the windows, folded in the Waldorf style using kite paper. Here we show you - step by step - how to do it.
How to make the butterflies and the sun
Start by folding the basic part, for the sun but also for the butterflies
Fold your sheet diagonally in half and make a sharp crease.
Open the sheet and fold 2 corners to the folded line.
Turn the sheet and fold the bottom corners to the middle.
Fold a corner of 1 cm on the opposite side.
Fold another 3 parts of the wings.
We will fold two butterflies.
Fold bottom points and done!
With the wings ready you fold the body
Fold basic part.
Fold diagonally in half.
Fold 2 corners to the middle..
Turn and fold the 2 points.
Fold both sides toward the middle line.
Glue small points on top of the body back.
Stick the wings on the butterfly.
How to make the sun
Fold 12 basic parts, in 1 or 2 colours.
Stick 8 parts together and stick 4 behind them.
Let the glue dry a while and then you can tape the sun and the butterflies on your window.
