180g white chocolate
2 tablespoons double cream
1 drop red food coloring
30g icing sugar
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
30g milk chocolate
We're going to finish our freshly baked mushroom biscuits, and they're going to be so adorable! Almost a shame to eat them, but they're very delicious. Especially if you love chocolate like we do! You can make the hats in two colours: solid brown and/or red with white dots. You'll soon see which type the little monsters like best ;)))
Here is how you finish your toadstool biscuits
Melt the chocolate with the cream, in a bain marie.
Almost melted? Remove from the heat and stir it.
Stir in the food colouring, add until you kike the colour.
Dip the toadstool caps in the red chocolate.
Allow the chocolate to set, first on baking paper,
Then transfer the biscuits to a wire rack.
Melt the milk chocolate au bain marie.
Meanwhile cut the top of the stems straight off.
Place the caps in an egg carton and stick the stems on.
Stir the icing sugar with drops of water.
Fill a piping bag, turn the biscuits and pipe on dots.
Leave the toadstools in the egg carton until all has completely dried!
While we wait we brew the tea already, to go with our lovely biscuits.
Now let's have a nice cup of tea in the garden, wishing you all a nice day as well!
