The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams

The American classic The Velveteen Rabbit, written by the British-American author Margery Williams, is a picture book from 1922. Over the years it has been globally reprinted countless times. In the first edition and translated into Dutch, the book is a museum piece. But in reprint you can still buy this lovely book in various versions, in Dutch and English. Anyway, we are very pleased with our book, it is a wonderful story.

The unique illustrations were created by British artist William Nicholson. The original drawings have something touching, perhaps because the pictures are so old ... All over the world children still love reading the book, which really is most special on it's own!
