Tomorrow it's that time of year again for the good Sinterklaas and his helpers to arrive on the Pakjes Boat. All the way from Spain! We will be standing expectantly on the quay, with our wishlist ready of course!
Madelief wrote the wish list for Eefje and Eef makes beautiful drawings on it for Sinterklaas. Then we also make a wonderful steamer to put the wish list in. Because tomorrow is the big day!
How to make a Pakjes boat
Paint the bottom half from the eggbox and the toilet roll and leave them to dry.
While the boat is drying Eef cuts out the flags from coloured paper.
She glues the flags folded in half on the string and sticks the roll in the box.
Prick holes in the smaller sides of the boat and span the string over the pipe.
Stick some cotton wool in the pipe to look like steam.
Stick a flag in the back of the boat made from paper and a toothpick.
Eef puts her wishlist immediately in the steamer.
You worked hard Eef! The steamer for Sinterklaas looks awesome!
You know what? We'll get Eefje some delicious pepernootjes already! Put the steamer next to your shoe, just like Eefje does and maybe Sinterklaas will bring a surprise for you.
