2 bananas
peanut butter or speculoos
milk chocolate buttons
small piece white chocolate
Today we're making mini chocolate bites with a banana filling and ... and now you get to choose: Peanut Butter or Speculoos. We need to use up the Speculoos first; we still have too much left over from the holidays. So we're using some up in these mini banana bites—so delicious!
How to make Banana Bites (or Monkey Bites)
Place baking paper on your bread board
Cut the bananas into slices.
Spread a little filling on half of them.
Press a second slice on top.
Place the bites in the freezer.
Place a pan with some water on the stove, bring the water to the boil and place a heatproof bowl on top
Melt the chocolate au bain marie.
Roll the bites into the chocolate.
Place the bites on baking paper.
Allow the chocolate to set
Decorate the monkey bites with white chocolate dots.
Lovely with a cup of tea!
