One of the funniest children's books for Halloween is FunnyBones by Janet en Allan Ahlberg. The book has not been available in the Dutch version for a long time, but FunnyBones is still available in English. The fun drawings along with the humorous text makes this book a children's favorite, even though it was first published in 1980.
Hopefully this book will be reprinted again - it is well worth it in our opinion it is well worth it - but in English it is actually even more fun for the reader. Some jokes are hard to translate and go over the heads of the age group anyway.
