Now that we already made various sweet Valentine's treats for the mini-monsters, it is finally our turn. These Cappuccino Truffles are delicious - with or without alcohol - and also nice, they are quickly made. The truffles also are a nice gift and you make 12 with this recipe. They do have to set in the fridge of course!
How to make the Cappuccino Truffles
Stir water with coffee and cinnamon until smooth.
Put it aside for now.
Bring the milk to the boil.
Stir in chocolate and butter.
Stir until it is well combined.
Add the coffee/cinnamon mixture.
Stir until combined.
Cover the bowl in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Take the bowl from the fridge.
Roll into balls between your hands.
Cover them in sugar or cocoa.
Allow the truffles to set in the fridge for one hour.
Now you may taste the Cappuccino truffles then wrap them nicely.
What a lovely Valentine's present!
