From September 21, 2024 to March 2, 2025, the beautiful exhibition Dior - A New Look was on display at Kunstmuseum Den Haag. With beautiful photos of well-known and lesser-known creations by the great master himself. The beautiful silhouettes with which Dior became world famous are still a feast for the eyes. They have an elegance and style that you no longer encounter today. A pleasure to look at.
 
Feel free to bring the kids because there is plenty to see and do for them in this museum. There is an open kids studio and as well as an open family studio, where children of all ages - with or without parents - can make their own art. There are Wonder Rooms to discover and Activity sheets to get started with. The mini-monsters love it here!

After the exhibition we of course quickly walked into the museum shop and there was our book from today: The thousand Flowers of Dior. A very cute picturebook that tells the story of the little Christian, who later in life would become very famous with just his last name: Dior.

This beautiful museum book is written by Dutch writer/illustrator Annemarie van Haeringen. We are taking this lovely picture book home with us, so we can read it to the monsters aloud, later at home. What a fun end to a wonderful museum visit!
