This year, a cute English picture book has been chosen in the Picture Book Top 10 and it is called Little Blue Truck. This means that during the National Reading Days - from 25 January to Saturday 4 February 2017 - many children will get to know this cute little blue car. At all Dutch schools, there will be extra reading during those days, by teachers and parents.
If you are lucky, it could also happen that a famous author will come and read one of these books to you. Maybe at your school or in your library. There will also be plenty of reading during the Dutch National Reading Days or you can participate in all kinds of fun activities. We will definitely take a look, because we always have fun in the Library!
