A magical book about two children and an injured fox—that sounds good!, say the little monsters. But what does magic have to do with it? They're eager to find out. They know what the Northern Lights are, and they hope to see them with their own eyes someday, when they're older. It's quite possible, and truly magical, the Northern Lights—you'll be amazed, how stunningly beautiful it is! T

The story is beautifully written; when the book is closed it's eagerly awaited. But the story is now and then interrupted for a fun craft with pattern, a yummie recipe, and... (a favorite of our little monsters): there is trivia included! Now tell me: it can't get any better than that, can it?

The atmospheric, soft gray-and-white illustrations were created by Helen van Vliet. We regularly encounter black-and-white or gray-and-white illustrations in the newest books. It's becoming quite a trend we feel, but it definitely has a certain charm. Our little monsters are growing up! (Sadly not available in the English language!)
