Today we make a sweet heart - out of felt - for Mum on Mothersday. Mum can hang the heart on her purse or use it as a pin cushion. This heart looks cute everywhere.
How to make a sweet heart for Mum
Draw a heart on a double folded piece of felt.
Cut it out and you have two sides at once.
Sew the halves together with little stitches.
Do not forget to tie-off and -on when your thread runs out.
Cut off 15 cm of ribbon for the loop to hang the heart on.
Fold the heart open and place the loop in between.
Fold it back and stitch on, to attach the loop in one go.
Almost around leave a small opening.
Stuff the heart with Fiberfill.
Tie-on and close the opening.
Don't tie-off, stick the needle through, sew on the sequins.
Then tie-off and stick the needle through.
Sew here and there sequins on with a bead on top.
Now the heart is ready and you can gift wrap it.
Tip for Mum's: hang the heart on a drawer button.
Use it as a pin cushion or brighten up your bag!
