Today we read another beautiful book with Greek Myths, written by Imme Dros De macht van de LIEFDE (The power of LOVE). The subtitle is The most beautiful stories about passion, desire and infatuation. If you open the booklet, right after the contents, you will read this:
'Behind us in the sea of time lies the land of myths, rich in two thousand islands, each island with its own stories. Many of those old myths still exist, many have been forgotten. The little paintings that illustrate the myths throughout the book are made by Harrie Geelen. Little gems of colour that support the atmosphere of the stories. Practical also for teenagers, because they make reading easier due to the regular breaks in the text. An extraordinay book with in the back a glossary with the unfamiliar names, persons and objects. (sadly only available in the Dutch language!)
