Nowhere

Today we're reading "The Journey," a beautiful new picture book by British author/illustrator Chris Saunders. His book "The Wish" was published in 2020, and in 2023 he published "Believe", which is still on our wishlist. :))

The story is written entirely in rhyme, and the illustrations are delightful. Sweet animals with funny faces embark on a special journey together. Do they all want to achieve the same goal with this journey? NOT. Will they all find what they're hoping for? Hmmm. Will this be the best trip of their lives? Yehess, absolutely!

All of Chris Saunders' stories have one thing in common: they're about friendship and courage. Wonderful books to read aloud to young children, read aloud from age 4, and read independently from age 7 and up. Go for it!
