Our littlest monsters also like to 'read' books about the universe. We are doing them a great pleasure by reading the colourful picture book De Sterrenkundige (The Astronomer), by the Belgian children's book maker Liesbet Slegers, to them. It is a part of her well known Professions series.
The illustrations are cheerfully coloured and fun, but the topics are treated seriously. A lot gets learned while the kids listen to us reading to them. We like that very much and so do our monsters! Sadly this book is not translated into English.
