The Garden Adventures of Griswald the Gnome

We are reading The Garden Adventures of Griswald the Gnome to the youngest monsters, a read-aloud book with particularly beautiful illustrations. The book was created by the German children's book author/illustrator Daniela Drescher, and it is so much fun!

There are 15 short stories in this book, making it perfect for reading aloud at bedtime. Moreover, the stories are funny and beautiful, because Griswald loves nature, just like our little monsters do.

On the back of the book, you can already read why Griswold lives in a human garden, which is not really common for a gnome. And how—after the initial shock—he really enjoys living there. He quickly makes new animal friends with whom he experiences all kinds of adventures. A much fun fairy tale book!
