Tom Percival wanted to make a completely new illustration from elements from various beautiful works of art together with his illustrations and he succeeded very well.
At the back of the book you will find information about the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, theworks of art and how the special illustrations were created by Tom percival. Wonderful to see how old and new mixed together can create something very beautiful. The mini-monsters listen quietly, they love the book too.
