A First Book of the Sea

British children's author Nicola Davies who wrote A First Book of the Sea is also a zoologist, she knows very much about all kinds of animals. Long ago, she was also one of the first hosts of The Really Wild Show, the BBC's wildlife TV show for children. Her books are almost always about animals and she has already received many prizes for her work. This book is about the wonder that is the sea, about all its inhabitants and life on the coast.
 

The illustrator of this book is Emily Sutton, her illustrations give the book something dreamy and at the same time they look very modern. Actually just as the book is also written. We like the way she uses lines and colors very much. This book is a wonderful possession, also for later. We are very happy with our purchase!
