What do you need?
a piece white cardstock
a ruler and pencil
scissors
red folding sheet
dark blue folding sheet
glue stick
star puncher
Today we are making a July 4th bookmark, featuring the world famous stars and stripes. It is a fun project, and we can always use a nice bookmark. The little monsters certainly think this one is very cool!
Here's how simple you make this bookmark
Place a red folding paper diagonally in front of you.
Fold the bottom point of the sheet upward.
Fold both points on the sides inward and upward.
Then fold the just folded sides of the sheet open again.
Fold one middle point on top downwards.
Fold the point inward and tuck in.
Reprat this on the other side.
Draw long lines on cardstock.
Cut out the strips.
Punch out little white stars.
Use a piece of dark blue cardstock.
Stick it in the right place.
Cut it off on the underside.
Now the blue fits very neatly.
Glue on the white strips.
Glue them on the top and bottom.
Flip your book mark over.
Cut off the white stripes.
Finally stick on the stars.
