Here is how to make an easy apple crumble
Tip: Cut the butter cubes into 4 portions of 50g, and rub them into the flour mixture in 4 batches.
Put flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
Stir it all together well.
Rub them well into the flour with your fingers.
Until you have a crumbly mixture.
Add butter cubes again.
Rub them into the mixture again.
Repeat this process two more times or until the 200g butter is used up
Set the crumbs aside.
Put sugar, flour and cinnamon in a bowl.
Stir it together.
Peel the apples and cut into cubes.
Fold the cubes into the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
Grease a baking form of 24-28 cm.
Spread the apple mixture evenly over the bottom of the baking mould.
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 160°C Fan
Let the crumble cool on a wire rack.
The first piece is a little hard to get out.
Meanwhile whip the double cream with sugar.
The apple crumble taste delicious!
Enjoy!
