A turkey on your head?

Better than on your plate!

Download the template

What do you need?
a strip brown cardstock
a small piece orange cardstock
a small piece white cardstock
a small piece of black cardstock
a pencil
a ruler
scissors
glue
red, orange and yellow paper

Our mini-monsters are vegetarian, so they don't want to eat turkey. They don't eat animals at all, period. But a funny turkey that you can put on your head, that's something else. They think that's really funny! And... also nice, they can make it all by themselves!

How you make a turkey for your head

If you find it helpful, you can download the PDF

Draw small marks on 5cm from the edge, on the long side.

Draw a long straight line along the marks.

Neatly cut off the strip along the drawn line.

Draw a triangle on the orange cardstock.

Draw 2 large white circles and two smaller black ones.

Neatly cut it all out.

Glue the eyes and beak on the head band.

Let the glue dry well for a little while, measure the strip around your head and place a paperclip and cut to fit

Draw feathers on the coloured paper while you wait and cut them out

Glue the feathers behind the eyes, cut as many as you like.

Measure the strip around your head to be safe and glue or punch it closed.

There are lots of turkeys running around here, even Bear is joining in, and the noise they make!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
