For autumn, we’re making a cute mushroom bookmark. The mushrooms are favorites with our little monsters; mention autumn, and they immediately say mushrooms. We go on long walks with them, in search of new varieties.
We find the most beautiful mushrooms in the Kralingse Bos, Arboretum, and near their school, where there are plenty of gardens. They monsters have to photograph every single one, because we take mushrooms very seriously at snazzie's!
But... here’s how you make this fun mushroom bookmark
We find the most beautiful mushrooms in the Kralingse Bos, Arboretum, and near their school, where there are plenty of gardens. They monsters have to photograph every single one, because we take mushrooms very seriously at snazzie's!
But... here’s how you make this fun mushroom bookmark
Draw a 15x15 cm square on white paper.
Cut out the square and fold it into a basic bookmark.
Do you remember how it works? Otherwise, you can check it here.
Place the bookmark on the back of the red origami sheet.
Use a pencil to draw a mushroom cap on the white back of the red origami paper, like you see in the picture above
Cut out the mushroom cap.
Place the cap on top of the bookmark and draw the stem.
Neatly cut out the stem on the bookmark.
Stick the cap onto the mushroom.
Punch dots out of white paper.
Glue the dots onto the mushroom cap.
Allow the glue to dry completely.
Draw a face on the mushroom, using coloured pencils.
The little monsters absolutely love this mushroom bookmark!
Happy Autumn!
